Hi, I'm Michelle—a values-based virtual assistant with a background in music, performing arts education, and project management.

After completing my MA in Toronto, I relocated to the UK and I got a temporary job as project administrator for a major telecoms company. My role expanded to include system assurance, eventually leading to a permanent position as an APM-qualified IT project manager. While an unusual path for a music graduate, it was a natural fit. My eye for detail and knack for systems made the move a logical one.

Eventually I went into teaching where my project management skills were invaluable in my various leadership roles within education. Now, as founder of EmBe Works, my mission is to support the busy owners of creative, arts, and education-based businesses.

As a fellow music educator and parent of a performer, I understand your unique values and mission. My approach is both intuitive and intentional: I take the time to understand your needs, how you work, and how I can best support you. I'm a proactive problem-solver, always using my creativity and resourcefulness to help you reclaim your time and grow your business.
